The goal was to bring a waterslide and beachside entertainment to a 5-day event in Oregon for the 2017 total eclipse. The organizer of the event reached out to me for my history of bringing unique interactive installations to events.
I performed duties as a designer, engineer, project manager, and builder.
Water features
- 70 ft water slide
- 10 ft water slide
- 60-gallon dump bucket
- 2 water guns.
- Beachside DJ booth and dance area.\
Daytime entertainment for thousands of people. We estimate about 10,000 people went down the slide through the 5-day event

Water Dump Bucket – 60 gallons
Tip Buckets or Dump Buckets are a popular feature at most water park usually being the centerpiece of the park. The bucket will slowly fill water and when the water reaches a certain level a warning bell will sound.
The Atoll – Floating Art Installation
We returned in 2016 to build as where participants can enjoy a floating art installation that engages visually, through sound and interactive features.
