Smilodon Fossil – 3d printing and augmented reality

I designed, 3d printed and painted this wall-mounted fossil to used in a learning environment. I also created a companion learning mobile application that teaches about the saber-tooth cat that once roamed this earth millions of years ago.

Modeled in ZBrush, 3ds Max, and Fusion360. Unity3d and Vuforia

Then created an AR learning mobile app called Smilodon AR.

Smilodon AR is a companion learning app for your 3D printed Smilodon skull fossil. Print and paint your museum-quality smilodon fossil, and with your mobile phone and this augmented reality app, you can see your prehistoric fossil come to life.
