One of my goals was to install several interactive features around the island. Fun to make toys on the island to encourage play. The goal was to make two water guns that could shoot water up to 60 ft.
Deep well pump were the perfect solution for the water guns. These pumps are capable of storing water at a pressure which was perfect for our application. When the user pulled the trigger of the gun we wanted an instant response. not wait for a motor to build up to a pressure to fire the gun. We also didn’t want a motor to constantly to run the duration of the event whole time of the event.

We were able to hack this pump to give us PSI up to 70
We tested several nozzles and gun types to get the most effective stream of water from the water pump.
