The Leapster Learning Game System is an educational handheld game console aimed at 4 to 10-year-olds. made by LeapFrog Enterprises. Its games teach the alphabet, basic math, and art and animal facts to players. Along with a directional pad, the system features a touchscreen with a stylus that enables young users to interact directly with the screen.
I worked as an engineer and designer on several titles for the Leapfrog Leapster.
The games were sold on a Cartage format. We built the game using Adobe Flash environment to work with art and programming. Teaching Math and Reading skills while adhering to the learning standards for the company. Worked closely with teachers and learning specialist.
