This interactive exhibit describes the story of the changing climate and its effect on the local tree population.
Using a microcontroller and custom LED panels, the visitor can change the temperature and view its effect on the trees as they transition in and out of view.
I designed and handcrafted this custom knob interface that drives a rotary encoder that controls the exhibit.

The learning objective was to explain the salmon migrating pattern through the California river system.
